T. Sanford Giemza Named Executive Director of Legacy Village at Plantation Manor in Thomasville, Ga.

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (January 26, 2016) – T. Sanford Giemza has been named executive director of Legacy Village at Plantation Manor, a premier assisted living community providing Alzheimer’s and memory care services in Thomasville, Ga. and the greater Thomas County area.
Prior to her appointment, Giemza served as executive director of the Thomasville Area Board of Realtors, and was a contributing writer for Thomasville Magazine.
She has held numerous leadership and management positions in the Thomasville area, including director of marketing and public relations at Winnstead Plantation & Nature Preserve; community education manager at Horizon Healthcare for John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital's Northside; and business development manager at Flowers Nissan, where she was named Employee of the Quarter multiple times.

After nearly 10 years of service in the U.S. Army, Giemza was honorably discharged in 2006 and is a Life Time Member of Brevard Veterans Council.
For two years, in 2010 and 2011, she received the Thomasville Kiwanis Club’s President’s Award. She has also been active in leadership in the Women’s Forum of Thomasville-Thomas County, Thomasville and Thomas County Chamber of Commerce, Thomasville Family Connections, and Thomasville Landmarks.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Warner Southern Christian College.
