THOMASVILLE, Ga. (Oct. 8, 2018) – Meagan Salter has been named life enrichment coordinator of Legacy Village at Plantation Manor, a personal care and memory care community serving Thomasville, Ga.
In this active new role, Salter will help residents explore their individual passions and establish new friendships through social events, recreational outings, and hands-on activities.
A recent honors graduate of Thomas University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Salter received the Psychology Department’s Young Scholar Award for outstanding classroom efforts and was recognized for her compassionate service in local Alzheimer’s care. A collegiate softball athlete for three years, she helped to oversee new student orientation as a Campus Activities Board member and was inducted into the Phi Chi psychology honors program. She also served as an organizer of the annual Dr. Jim Neill Alzheimer’s Walk, a widely attended community event for raising awareness for Alzheimer’s care in Thomas County. Prior to joining Legacy Village at Plantation Manor, Salter worked in customer service.
